FIND YOU LEGISLATORS and let them know protecting our drinking water should be a priority. Make sure they know about the threats to our aquifer and ask them if they know what the sustainability plan is for preserving our aquifer for future generations?

The Louisiana Department of Conservation and Energy (C&E) is seeking public comment (due Oct 15, 2026) on prospective rule changes dealing with groundwater management in the state, with the eventual intent to consolidate and revise existing rules within the Natural Resources title of the Louisiana Administrative Code (LAC).
